The Royal Agriculture Hill Station in Angkhang
is a pleasure
for the eyes. Saturated green mix with colorful flowers.
Mainly temperate flowers like azalea, camellia, roses and
others are grown here, with almost 2000 m above sea level
its the ideal environment.
In a scented garden a collection of aromatic breed from
Thailand and elsewhere is raised. Chinese tea and
different fruits like plum, Japanese apricot, Chinese pear,
kiwi, raspberry etc. are also grown.
The hill tribes in the villages around are Muser,
Shan, Yunanese, Palong and others. The right place to take a
deep breath and relax. A restaurant offers good food and a
exceptional panorama.
There is also a beautiful Doi
Angkhang Hill Resort, link at the bottom. When you travel to Doi
Angkhang
put on your hiking boots or shoes, they sell them very
cheap in Thailand and you better be in good health condition since the trail and
road constantly moves up and down.
What you get in return on
your Doi Angkhang trekking or hiking tour are breathtaking
panoramas, a great breeze and very colorful people. They are Muser, Shan, Lahu, Lisu, Karen and Akha and most of them
are naturally people of Thailand, the so called hill tribes.
